Hola! I’m Zulmarie, Jacksonville-based hair, and makeup artist. I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Maryland. I’m a bilingual northerner turned southern beach girl. I started in the beauty industry when I was 18 and have dabbled in wedding hair and makeup for almost my whole career. I became more interested in bridal beauty services about ten years ago when I started working in luxury hospitality here in Northeast Florida.
Although, I certainly plunged right into it in 2018 when I launched Curl.Wink.Blush inspired, romantic hairstyling and enhanced natural beauty are my happy place. I genuinely love celebrating all of the small victories and large milestones my clients graciously share with me. But, above all, I love creating memorable experiences and fostering the relationships this industry has provided me. So, I hope you’ll grace me with the pleasure of getting to know you better!

Curl.Wink.Blush is available by appointment on a case-by-case basis. In addition, the Beauty Concierge gives the option of a yearly membership to provide you with instant access to a hair and makeup artist.

Of course, we have our favorites, but we will work with any photographer you choose. If you have a specific vision and need recommendations, let us know. We are happy to make vendor recommendations for our clients!

- ULTIMATE BRIDAL EXPERIENCE
Book hair and makeup services for yourself exclusively. Whether you’re eloping, hosting a destination wedding or staying local and traditional, build a relationship and have a one-on-one experience with Zulmarie. The Bridal Experience includes on-site hair and makeup services for your engagement session, wedding trial, rehearsal, and the wedding day. This package can be booked alone or in addition to a Le Carte service for your party. $950
MOM & ME
Moms are never celebrated enough! Here’s your chance to share the spotlight with one of your favorite people! This package includes an on-site hair and makeup trial and day of wedding hair and makeup for yourself and that remarkable woman in your life. $890
- A LA CARTE PRICING
In order to give a fully customized experience, most weddings will require individual pricing per service, per person. Book a consult if you need help deciding what pricing model would work best for you and your party. Of course, our artists will always come to you, whether you book individual hair and makeup service.
- DESTINATION WEDDINGS
Have a beauty professional right by your side for all your wedding events, even abroad. Zulmarie will personally travel with you to meet your beauty needs, whether out of state or country. Your personal artist will be your personal beauty assistant. Have perfect hair and makeup for every event before, during, and after you say “I do.” She will take care of any touch-ups you might need, helping you get changed, putting in your veil. All the little details your friends and family may not even think about. Take luxury with you on the road or overseas. Consult call and custom pricing required.
How Do I Book?
We like to start every relationship by getting to know you. When you reach out, we will send you a brief questionnaire and schedule a 15-minute consult call. Once you decide you’re ready to move forward, we will send you a proposal and contract to review after your call. We require a 50% retainer and a signed contract to confirm your booking.
How Soon Should You Book My Services?
We highly recommend securing your date 9 – 12 months in advance, with a minimum of 6 months in advance. Prime wedding season is May – October, and dates fill quickly. Your trial services should be booked 2 – 4 months before the wedding date, and booking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. A Consultation and trial services do not secure your wedding date. If you think you’re ready to book, send us an email, and we will follow up with either a consult call or your customized proposal.
What Other Wedding Day Services Do You Provide?
Our job is not done the moment your lashes are placed. We will help you put on your veil and teach someone to take it out, provide a few touch-ups for anyone that might need it before we go. We have even helped brides put on their dresses. Ask about our hourly rate if you’d like to have a beauty assistant with you throughout the day for additional touch-ups or a change of style. Our goal is to make sure you look and feel your absolute best!
