Publish Your Personal Wedding Journey from Engagement to “I do”
A Wedding Journey, From Ring to I Do wants to feature your beautiful engagement and wedding photos to provide newly engaged couples with beautiful inspiration to assist them as they start their wedding journey.
Thank you for your interest in sharing your beautiful photos with A Wedding Journey. We love and appreciate every submission that comes our way.
Newly Engaged and Newlyweds
We would love to feature your beautiful engagement and wedding story. Please include lots of details about your beautiful and exciting events. The more information you can give us about these special events the better.
You will need to ask your photographer or videographer to submit directly to us, following the guidelines below.
By having your photographer or videographer submit their work, we can ensure that all applicable Copywrite laws have been followed, and professionals can quickly ensure that their submission meets sizing(resizing) requirements.
Please list ALL applicable vendors from your special events. We must place credits on all vendors along with their links. You can fill in the details on our submission form below.
We will let you know within one week of receiving your photos if we can publish your real wedding on A Wedding Journey.
For Photographers…
We want to feature your high-quality digital photoshoots of real engagements and real weddings featuring all of the beautiful couples going through their wedding journey.
Please note that we do not publish highly-edited photos and would prefer to use predominantly color photos. Although, a few black/white images will be fine.
A Wedding Journey will feature the following types of photos:
- Real Engagements
- Real Weddings
- Styled Photoshoots
We are an inclusive wedding blog looking to feature all kinds of engagement and wedding inspiration from all cultures, faiths, and countries. In addition, to include couples of all races, shapes, sizes, and sexual orientations.
Before your submission, please make sure that you have discussed your submission with the couple.
How to Submit Your Engagement Story or Wedding Journey
The easiest way to submit your photos if you are newly engaged or a newlywed is to use the form we have posted below.
If you are a Photographer, the easiest way to submit your photos is to share a link to your blog post of the wedding or photoshoot to info@aweddingjourney.com or use the form posted below. Or you can send your submission using any file-sharing site (ex: Dropbox). You should include the following in your submission:
- For Engagements, please provide 30 to 60 photos, without watermarks, that reflect each couple’s particular engagement story.
- For Weddings, please provide 75 to 150 photos, without watermarks, that reflect each couple’s wedding day.
- Images with a pixel size of 1900 (vertical and horizontal), with a file size no larger than 100kb.
- Please provide a written description of the color theme, creativity, and DIY aspects of the event.
- Very important, we need a paragraph or two from the couple about how they meet, planning for their engagement, and journey to their “I do.”
In general, our future Brides love details and photoshoots to help inspire them as they start their wedding journey. So remember to include the unique aspects – the dress, hairstyles, décor, flowers/centerpieces, bouquets, table settings, and dance floor. Also, full-length photos of the bride/groom/ wedding party all dressed up.
Exclusitivity…
We prefer to feature submissions that haven’t been published on other wedding blogs – this is so we can ensure the content on A Wedding Journey is fresh and inspiring for our readers. However, we don’t mind if a submission has been published in a magazine.
Once a wedding, photoshoot, or film has been featured on A Wedding Journey, we ask that you and the vendors wait 30 days after the publish date on our website before submitting to another wedding blog or publication.
