A Wedding Journey

The Ribault Club

11241 Fort George Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32226

Serving Northeast Florida

“A secret little park tucked away in the woods.”

“Historic Elegance. Southern Charm. The historically restored Ribault Club on Fort George Island in Jacksonville, Florida will make any event distinctive and unforgettable.  The Club’s waterfront location and magnificent meeting and rental space is available for public and private functions.”

If these walls could talk, you’d hear thousands of voices from gatherings spanning nearly eight decades.  At the historic Ribault Club, we’ve opened our home for the grandest soirées and the most intimate luncheons.  A place known to be as simple as it is elegant, as comfortable as it is accommodating and as unpretentious as it is impressive, our guests depart with a deep sense of belonging,

Treat your favorite caterer with our state-of-the-art kitchen facility and celebrate with friends and family over a special meal on the verandah.  Schedule time for year-round fishing, biking or just enjoying the beautiful 100 acres of waterfront parkland.

The Ribault Club was established in 1928 as a playground for the affluent, much like the “millionare’s club” on neighboring Jekyll Island.  The Club has been the site of many memorable parties and events over the years, hosting foreign dignitaries, captians of industry, and society mavens.

Having undergone a four-year restoration, the waterfront Club is now available to host your special event or meeting.  With space intimate enough for 25 people or grand enough for 400, make the Ribault Club part of your history.

Exchange vows against breathtaking waterfront or sprawling lawn views, inside – or out.

The Ribault Club is a historic building on Fort George Island near Jacksonville, Florida.  It is now home to the Fort George Island Visitor Center.  The building was designed in a Colonial Revival architecture style and is credited to Maurice Fatio and Mellen Clark Greele, Architects.

Fort George Island and Amelia Island are a magical place

Located within 100 acres of waterfront parkland, the Club is well suited to offer outdoor recreational activities in our temperate north Florida Climate.  You and your guests will never forget your very special event at the Ribault Club.
